Manufacturers have to produce necessary paperwork, send their goods for testing to BIS-registered labs, and finish the online registration process. The certification has two years validity and needs to be renewed in line with that. Compliance with the Essential Security Requirements for CCTV will be obligatory from April 9, 2025.
