Questions we are asked most
Which certification does my product need to sell in India?
It depends on the product and its Indian Standard. Electronics usually need BIS CRS; many appliances, toys and industrial goods need the ISI mark under a Quality Control Order; wireless devices need WPC ETA; telecom gear needs TEC. Share your product details and we will confirm the exact list for free.
How long does certification take?
BIS CRS typically takes 4–8 weeks, WPC ETA 2–4 weeks, and ISI for foreign manufacturers 4–6 months including the factory audit. We give you a written timeline before you start.
Do you work with foreign manufacturers?
Yes. Roughly half our clients are overseas factories. We act as your Authorised Indian Representative, coordinate sample shipping and testing in India, and manage BIS factory inspections abroad.
How much does it cost?
Cost has three parts: government fees, lab testing fees and our professional fee. We quote all three separately and in writing before any work starts.
Can you handle certifications for multiple countries at once?
Yes. We plan testing once and reuse reports across markets wherever possible — for example a CB report can speed up CE, BIS and other national approvals.
