CRS Mark for Dimmers for LED products

Under IS 60669-2-1:2008 the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certifies the BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme), which Dimmers must have for LED products. It guarantees performance, safety for products, and adherence to Indian laws. Manufacturers have to apply for certification by means of BIS-recognized lab testing of their products, documentation submission, and registration completion. Foreign producers need an Authorized Indian Representative (AIR). Approved, the BIS mark can be put on the goods to guarantee lawful sale in India. This accreditation increases customer confidence in LED dimmers on the Indian market and helps to preserve quality standards.
