CRS Mark for Keyboard

The BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) certification is required for computer keyboards under Indian Standard IS 13252 (Part 1) to ensure safety and quality compliance.  Manufacturers must have their keyboards tested at a BIS-approved facility and then submit an online application with test results, business registration, and product information.  BIS issues CRS certification after successful verification, authorizing the use of the Standard Mark.  This certification is required for selling keyboards in India, since it ensures customer safety and regulatory compliance.  Regular auditing and testing ensure certification validity.  Foreign producers must submit an application for imported items through an authorized Indian agent.
