CRS Mark for LED Flood Lights

Under the Electronics and IT Goods Order, LED flood lights in India must be certified BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme).  IS 10322 (Part 5/Sec 5) is the relevant standard guaranteeing efficiency, performance, and product safety, 2013.  Manufacturers must get their LED flood lights tested in a BIS-approved lab and submit the test report along with business and product documents on the BIS portal.  Approved, BIS assigns a special CRS number that lets one use the BIS CRS mark.  Selling LED flood lights in India depends on this certification guaranteeing compliance with Indian quality criteria.
