ISI Mark for Air Cooler and Air Filters

To guarantee quality and safety, Air Coolers and Air Filters must be certified at BIS, or Bureau of Indian Standards.  While Air Filters follow IS 17570 (Part 1:2021, specifying efficiency and classification criteria), Air Coolers must conform with IS 3315:2019, encompassing performance and safety requirements.  Applications for certification must be submitted, factories inspected, products tested, and Quality Control Order (QCO) 2023 compliance followed.  To use the ISI brand, manufacturers must get a BIS license, therefore guaranteeing regulatory permission for sale in India.  For comprehensive instructions, refer to the BIS official website, bis.gov.in.
