ISI Mark for Bottled Water Dispenser

Safety, performance, and quality criteria defined in Indian Standard IS 17681:2022 are guaranteed by the BIS certification for Bottled Water Dispensers.  Manufacturers—domestic and foreign—that sell in India must have this accreditation.  Application submission, document validation, factory inspection, product testing in labs certified by BIS, and certification issuing comprise the process.  Foreign manufacturers must apply under the Foreign Manufacturers Certification Scheme (FMCS).  The BIS symbol promises safety and dependability of products.  Implementation dates for compliance vary: July 1, 2024 (importers), October 1, 2024 (small manufacturers), January 1, 2025 (micro manufacturers).  Compliance raises customer confidence and market credibility.
