ISI Mark for Diesel Engines – NOx Reduction Agent AUS 32
Under IS 17042 (Part 1), Diesel Engines - NOx Reduction Agent AUS 32 must be certified BIS-wise to guarantee compliance with environmental criteria and quality. Application submission, factory inspection, product testing for parameters like urea content and trace metals, and awarding of the ISI mark upon approval comprise the process. Under the Quality Control Order (QCO), the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has set BIS certification by August 25, 2024. This certification guarantees the safe manufacturing of AUS 32, therefore lowering NOx emissions and enabling producers to satisfy Euro 4, 5, and 6 emission standards for diesel engines.
