ISI Mark for Drums and Tins

Drum and tin BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification guarantees conformity with Indian Standards including IS 2552 (steel drums) and IS 13997 (tinplate containers), together with product quality and safety.  Application submission, document validation, manufacturing inspection, and product testing by labs certified by BIS are part of the process  Manufacturers have to register on the Manak Online platform, turn in necessary paperwork, and pass quality control.  Once accepted, BIS issues an ISI Mark Certification—mandatory for some goods.  The license needs to be renewed and runs one year.  BIS certification guarantees adherence to Indian legal criteria and strengthens market confidence.
