ISI Mark for Electric Fence Energizers

Electric Fence Energizers' BIS certification guarantees adherence to IS 302-2-76:1999, which lays safety criteria for these devices.  Manufacturers who want to sell and distribute energizers in India are obliged to be certified.  The procedure consists in applying under the ISI Mark Scheme (Scheme I), then in product testing in a lab approved by BIS and a factory inspection.  BIS certifies the maker once the product satisfies all regulatory criteria thereby enabling the use of the ISI mark.  This accreditation guarantees product dependability, safety, and compliance to Indian regulations.  For specifics, see the BIS official website, bis.gov.in.
