Effective November 1, 2024, the Quality Control Order (QCO) mandates compliance with Indian Standard IS 1754:2023; BIS certification for Telescopic Ball Bearing Drawer Slides guarantees this compliance.  The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) issues this certification guaranteeing safety, durability, and quality of products.  Application submission, sample testing, manufacturing inspection, and surveillance comprise the procedure.  Manufacturers have to satisfy needs for material, durability, and corrosion resistance.  Products certified now can bear the ISI mark, indicating compliance.  Manufacturers, importers, and sellers in India must be BIS certified if they are to lawfully market and distribute their goods while preserving quality requirements.
