CRS Mark for Amplifiers with Input Power 2000W and Above

Under IS 616:2017, amplifiers with input power of 2000W or above must have the BIS CRS Mark Certification to guarantee product safety and quality per Indian standards. Manufacturers have to send technical documentation, apply online, have their products tested in a BIS-recognized facility. Foreign producers must designate an Authorized Indian Representative (AIR). Following verification, BIS issues two-year valid registration; renewal required before to expiry. Before being sold in India, the certified products have to show the BIS CRS mark and registration number, therefore guaranteeing government compliance with electronic goods.
