CRS Mark for Thin-Film Terrestrial Photovoltaic

Thin-Film Terrestrial Photovoltaic (PV) Modules' BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) certification guarantees performance and safety compliance with Indian Standard IS 16077:2013 a-Si, CIGS, CdTe.  Manufacturers have to apply through the BIS site, have their products tested at a BIS-registered lab, and go through document checking.  Authorized Indian Representatives (AIR) are required of foreign manufacturers.  Approved, the BIS mark is awarded for two years and needs to be renewed.  Market access in India requires this certification, which guarantees consumer and industry stakeholders dependability, safety, and quality of products.  Non-compliance could lead to fines and a cancellation of accreditation.
