ISI Mark for Cattle Feeds

Cattle feed's BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification guarantees that the feed satisfies IS 2052:2009 criteria on quality and safety.  Manufacturers of cow feed must keep nutritional value, hygiene, and safety for cattle via means of maintenance.  Candidates for a BIS license have to register their company, apply using the BIS site, send product samples for testing, and go through manufacturing inspections.  One must follow labeling and quality criteria.  Approved, the license lets producers use the ISI brand on their goods.  Frequent audits guarantee ongoing compliance to BIS guidelines for the manufacturing of quality livestock feed.
