This Cookie Policy explains how Instacertify Labs Private Limited ("Instacertify", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on instacertify.com, how we ask for your consent, and how you can change your mind at any time. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage and session storage, work in the same way. In this policy "cookies" covers all of them.

2. How we ask for your consent

• On your first visit we show a cookie notice in English and Hindi. No optional cookies are set until you make a choice.
• "Accept all" and "Reject non-essential" are equally easy to choose. You can also pick individual categories under "Choose cookies".
• Only strictly necessary cookies are used without consent, because the website cannot work properly without them.
• We remember your choice for 12 months. We ask again after that, or sooner if this policy changes in a meaningful way.

3. Categories of cookies we use

• Strictly necessary – remember your cookie choice and keep the site and enquiry forms secure. Always on.
• Preferences – remember things like whether you have already sent an enquiry or closed a pop-up, so we do not ask again.
• Analytics – help us understand which pages are useful and which campaign brought you to us, using aggregated statistics.
• Marketing – only used if we run advertising campaigns, to measure whether our adverts lead to enquiries. We do not sell your data.

4. Changing or withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. Click Cookie settings in the footer of any page, or use the button below, and switch categories off. When you switch a category off we delete its cookies from your browser straight away. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site, such as enquiry forms, may then not work as expected.

5. Records of your consent

To show that we respect your choices, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the GDPR, we keep a record each time you give, change or withdraw consent. The record holds a random consent ID, your choices, the policy version, the date and time, the page you were on, the language, your IP address and your browser type. We use it only to prove your choice if it is ever questioned, for example by you or a regulator, and to detect misuse of the consent service. Consent records, including the IP address, are deleted automatically after 24 months.

6. Enquiry forms

When you submit an enquiry form we ask for your explicit consent to contact you about that enquiry. Receiving regulatory updates and marketing is a separate, optional choice. We use the details you give us only for these purposes and keep them in line with our Privacy Policy, after which they are anonymised. When you submit a form we also record your IP address and browser type, to block spam and fraudulent submissions and as a record of when and from where you gave consent. The IP address is deleted automatically after 180 days.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to information about how your personal data is processed, to correct, complete, update and erase it, to withdraw consent, to nominate another person to exercise your rights, and to grievance redressal. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR also gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To use any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the EU/UK, to your local data protection authority.

8. Changes to this policy

When we add new cookies or change how we use them, we update this page and the cookie table. If the change affects the choices you made, we ask for your consent again.
