CRS Mark for Bluetooth Speakers

Bluetooth speakers imported into India under IS 616:2017 / IEC 60065 must have the BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) certification. Safety, quality, and electromagnetic compatibility are therefore guaranteed. Products must be tested in a BIS-approved lab and then included into an application on the BIS site together with supporting documentation like business licenses, test reports, and product specifications. Approved, the BIS CRS mark can be placed on the good. Foreign producers have to name an Authorized Indian Representative (AIR). Maintaining certification requires routinely audits and compliance inspections. Legal selling of Bluetooth speakers in India depends on this certification.
