Many industrial chemicals have an Indian Standard that sets the minimum assay and the maximum impurities for each grade, and some are under compulsory BIS certification. Buyers, importers and traders test lots against the IS specification, an ASTM method or their own specification before accepting delivery.
The same labs identify unknown substances, such as residues, contaminants and competitor products, using FTIR, GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP and XRF, and generate the composition and physical property data needed for safety data sheets, transport classification and chemical registration.
What we do for you
- Lab and parameter list chosen for your purpose: licence, export, buyer or internal QC
- Sampling guidance, and pickup or on-site sampling where needed
- One contact who follows up with the lab until the report is issued
- Report explained in plain language, with next steps if a result fails
