CRS Mark for Smart Speakers (with and without Display)

Smart speakers—with and without displays—in India must have a BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) Mark to guarantee adherence to safety and quality criteria. These goods follow IS 616:2017, Audio, Video, and Similar Electronic Apparatus – Safety Requirements). Manufacturers have to register using the BIS portal after getting their smart speakers evaluated in a BIS-approved facility.
