CRS Mark for Smart Watches

BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) accreditation is required for smartwatches in India under IS 13252 (Part 1) to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements. Manufacturers and importers must register with BIS and have their goods evaluated in a BIS-approved lab for electrical, battery, and radio frequency safety. Following testing, an application with all relevant documentation is submitted via the BIS site. After approval, the product is certified, and the BIS CRS mark must appear on the wristwatch and packaging. This certification is required for authorized sales in India and ensures customer safety and product reliability.
