CRS Mark for Visual Display Units, Video Monitors of Screen Size 32″ & Above

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) requires BIS CRS Mark Certification for Visual Display Units (VDUs) and Video Monitors with Screen Sizes 32″ and Above as part of the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS). These goods must meet Indian Standard IS 13252 (Part 1):2010, which specifies safety and performance requirements. The certification procedure consists of product testing at BIS-approved labs, document submission, BIS review, and registration. This accreditation is manufacturer and brand specific, requiring different certifications for each. It is valid for two years and must be renewed to maintain compliance.
