CRS Mark for UPS/Invertors of Rating≤5kVA

For UPS/Inverters with rating less than 5kVA, the BIS CRS Mark certification guarantees compliance with Indian safety and performance criteria. Manufacturers must test their goods in a BIS-recognized lab per IS 16242, Part 1: 2014. The procedure consists in assigning an Authorized Indian Representative (for foreign brands), turning in test reports, and offering business, trademark, and quality documentation. Before the CRS certification is issued, BIS reviews applications to let the product bear the BIS Mark. The certification has two years validity and has to be updated. Compliance guarantees dependability, market access, and respect of India’s required safety standards.
