Thermal analysis shows how a material behaves when heated. DSC measures melting point, glass transition and crystallinity, which identify a polymer grade and show whether it has been processed correctly. TGA measures how much mass is lost with temperature, which gives filler, ash and moisture content and thermal stability.
Particle size distribution by laser diffraction matters for pharmaceutical powders, pigments, cement, minerals and battery materials. XRD identifies crystalline phases, FTIR identifies polymers and organic contaminants, and SEM with EDS shows surface structure and elemental make-up, a common step in failure investigation.
What we do for you
- Lab and parameter list chosen for your purpose: licence, export, buyer or internal QC
- Sampling guidance, and pickup or on-site sampling where needed
- One contact who follows up with the lab until the report is issued
- Report explained in plain language, with next steps if a result fails
