Overview of Stack Emission Monitoring
- Tested by
- NABL-accredited partner lab
- Regulation
- EP Rules & IS 11255
- Typical turnaround
- 5–7 days after sampling
- Sampling
- On-site sampling at the stack
Boilers, thermic fluid heaters, furnaces, DG sets, incinerators and process vents all have emission limits, set by the Environment (Protection) Rules and your consent to operate. Monitoring follows the IS 11255 series and CPCB guidelines, with isokinetic sampling so that the dust collected represents the gas flowing up the stack.
The team needs a sampling port and a safe platform at the right height on the stack. Results are used for consent compliance and renewal, for checking bag filters and scrubbers, and to cross-check online continuous emission monitoring systems (OCEMS), which CPCB requires for highly polluting industries.
What we do for you
- Lab and parameter list chosen for your purpose: licence, export, buyer or internal QC
- Sampling guidance, and pickup or on-site sampling where needed
- One contact who follows up with the lab until the report is issued
- Report explained in plain language, with next steps if a result fails
